English
is a living language and it is constantly expanding, picking
up new words and phrases from TV, films, books and other tongues.
No dictionary could contain every single word or phrase in
use - but ours has over 700 of the most commonly used in the
British Isles. Little gems such as "Bags I go first"
or "So, she's going to be a trolley dolly then?"
and other mysterious phrases will, at last, make sense to
you - but only if you stop being an anorak, grab a wedge and
